Slot machine games are possibly the most popular games to gamble on at casinos. On any night, count on most of the machines to be filled with eager gamblers. The initial across the board use of one armed bandits in American brick and mortar casinos is attributed to the Flamingo Hotel, Sin City somewhere around 1940. The administrator of the betting house had originally thought the machines would be perfect to entertain bored wives of some of the biggest whales of the casino. He didn’t know that slot machine games would be a fun activity for nearly everyone and that the appeal would extend further than the tired wives. At this time, it is said, the slots comprise over 2/3rds of all money generated by U.S. casinos.
Slot machine games certainly have a full history. From the petite creation of the late-19th century to the multi-million dollar sector of today, slots will continue to expand in popularity.
